Perfect Ending to Our First Year

We can't say thank you enough to everyone who came out for Karen Frimkess Wolff's show on June 16.  It was a special day and we had a wonderful turnout at the Little Tokyo Galleria.  Karen's installation, Dancing on Eggshells, delighted passersby and ShoeboxLA fans alike.  Her unique and thoughtful work was an ideal fit for our space and we could not have asked for a more perfect finale to an exciting first year.

We've met so many great people over the past few months and we're so glad so many of you "got" what we set out to do.  We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the businesses and organizations who've hosted us. We truly could not have done this without you.

ShoeboxLA began in September of 2011 to give professional artists a fun and unique exhibition opportunity.  We had the pleasure to observe and interact with truly talented artists.  Each one helped define our gallery this past year and we are grateful for their contributions:

Amy Maloof
Kim Tucker
Anita Bunn
Michael Blasi
Amparo Jelsma
Melissa Manfull
Julio Panisello
Carl Smith
Jaime Ursic
Timothy Nolan
Joshua Levine
Karen Frimkess Wolff

Stay tuned for news on upcoming exhibitions, events and see you in September for Year 2!

We love seeing you,
Sophia & Paul
